Wallace State’s Dual Enrollment program allows eligible high school students to enroll in college classes concurrently with high school classes, thereby receiving both high school and college credit.

To be eligible, students must:
1. Have completed the ninth grade.
2. Have a “B” average (3.0 GPA) in completed high school courses leading to a high school diploma.
3. Have written approval of the principal and local superintendent of education.
4. Meet the WSCC entrance requirements.
5. Complete placement exams.

FREE Career-Technical Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment courses in many of Wallace State’s career-technical fields are offered on campus. The Career Tech Dual Enrollment Scholarship is offered each semester and pays full tuition, fees, and textbooks for up to 6 credit hours of college coursework. Please see scholarship link on the right menu.

To be eligible, students must:
1. Have completed the tenth grade.
2. Have a “75” average (2.5 GPA) in completed high school courses leading to a high school diploma.
3. Have written approval of the principal and local superintendent of education.
4. Meet the WSCC entrance requirements.
5. Complete placement exams.

Career Technical Dual Enrollment Scholarship:
The Career Tech Dual Enrollment Scholarship is offered fall, spring, and summer semesters and pays full tuition, fees, and textbooks for up to 6 credit hours of college coursework. Students interested in taking courses during the fall and spring through this scholarship program must get prior approval from their local high school. Programs covered under this scholarship are listed below.

Agriculture (AGP), Culinary Arts (CUA), Medical Assisting Technology (MAT), HVAC - Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (ACR & ASC), Diesel Mechanics (DEM), Medical Coding, Automotive Service Technology (AUM & ASE), Drafting & Design Technology (DDT), Medical Transcription (MTR), Business Technology (BUS/ACT), Electronics Technology (ILT), Office Administration (OAD), Child Development (CHD), Emergency Medical Services (EMS - Basic), Pharmacy Technician (PHM), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Engineering Tech (ENT), Polysomnographic Technology (PSG), Criminal Justice (CRJ), Machine Shop/Tool Technology (MSP/MTT), Welding (WDT)
