The Business Department at WSCC is comprised of three program areas: Business Administration, Business Management, and Business Education. Within these areas, you may choose from a variety of programs or certificates designed to help you achieve your career goal.

Regardless of the program you choose, all of the Business Programs at WSCC are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs. The ACBSP is the premier accrediting association for business schools and programs with a focus on teaching excellence. Accreditation ensures that faculty, programs and courses are relevant and current to best serve the needs of students and the surrounding community, including area employers. Important Information regarding Business Online Programs
In order to participate in our Business Education online programs, you must have ready access to a computer with Microsoft Office 2010 and a high-speed internet connection. You should have a basic understanding of Internet navigation and the ability to upload, download, save and attach files.
The Wallace State bookstore has a student version of Microsoft Office 2010 available for approximately $90. You may also utilize our business computer lab on campus to complete assignments. Check with a business advisor for lab hours each semester.
All online classes begin the first week of each semester. It is the student's responsibility to buy the textbook and other related materials, sign in to Blackboard, access the course syllabus, and begin assignments during the first week of classes.
